Download?Download the Drawings.zip (687 kB). There are two EPOC database icon database files containing process flow-sheet SKETCH objects and general-purpose SKETCH objects. With these and the built-in SKETCH application, process flow diagrams can be quickly assembled.

Features

Sketches of most chemical plant units - tanks, reactors, distillation column, absorber, scrubbers, pumps, compressors, heat exchanger, furnaces, buildings, power stations and many more. In Psion SKETCH form, they are easy to copy and paste into process flow diagrams.

Usage

Open the "general drawings" EPOC database icon database and have a look at some of the useful colour SKETCH objects that are available to help you develop your images.

Open the "flow-sheet drawings" EPOC database icon database and type in "silos". Your view should be:-

Now double-tap on the desired silo to open up the picture, press Ctr-A then Ctrl-C to copy the entire image to the clipboard. Now switch to your project file, open a SKETCH object and paste  in the image with Ctrl-V, as below:-

Now switch back to your "flowsheet drawing" database and search for "conveyor":-

Double-tap on the desired drawing to open it and copy the entire image to the clipboard as before. Now paste that into your drawing, and return to search in the "flowsheet drawing" database for "gasifier". Your view should be:-

Copy this drawing and paste it into your drawing as before to get:-

Now add a waste-heat boiler:-

and paste that into your drawing. Now to connect the boiler to the gasifier, zoom in and draw a line to get the following:-

Finally, draw the arrow with the reactangle tool:-

You sketch should now look like this:-
